Chapter 93 - The Fall of the Sovereign Syndicate

Before the echoes of the blast doors could fade, the Swiss Federal Police, flanked by tactical units from Interpol and international counter-terrorism task forces, poured through the shattered entrance of the museum.

"Nobody move! Hands where we can see them!"

Laser sights painted the suits of the world's most corrupt financiers. Men who had controlled market crashes, orchestrated wars in secret, and manipulated elections were forced to their knees, their designer cuffs replaced with heavy steel zip-ties.

Victoria was hoisted to her feet by two armed agents. Blood dripped from her shattered wrist onto the pristine floor, but her cold gaze remained fixed entirely on Alexander and Elena.

"You think you’ve won?" Victoria hissed, a venomous smile lingering on her lips. "The Sovereign is not an institution, Alexander. It is a parasite embedded in every central bank across the globe! You may have dismantled this room, but the world will never let you live in peace!"

"The world won't have to," Alexander said, stepping forward. He held up Julian Sinclair’s titanium ledger—the very drive that had cost so many lives. "Five minutes ago, when Aegis-7 decrypted, Marcus broadcast the entire decentralized ledger to every judicial authority, investigative journalist, and international tribunal across thirty countries."

Victoria’s breath caught in her throat. Her eyes widened in true, unadulterated horror.

"Every offshore account, every bribe, every assassination contract funded by the Sterling Trust and the Sovereign Syndicate is now public domain," Alexander continued calmly. "There are no shadows left for you to hide in, Victoria. The empire is dead."

As Victoria was dragged away in chains, her curses swallowed by the sirens outside, Marcus Vance walked down the grand staircase, his rifle slung over his tactical vest.

"The perimeter is clear, boss," Marcus reported, breathing a long sigh of relief. "Our transport to the border is standing by. And... we just received a secure transmission from the safehouse."

Elena stepped forward, her heart leaping into her throat. "Leo?"

Marcus broke into a genuine, tired smile. "He’s safe. Old man Thomas and the coastal team have him secured at the safehouse outside Lucerne. He’s eating pancakes and asking when his mother is coming home."

Tears finally breached Elena’s defenses. She buried her face in Alexander’s shoulder, her slender frame shaking as the crushing weight of three years of running, hiding, and terror finally melted away into the Zurich night.
